The principle of the Cool Type ball screw product series is to reduce the heat source generation and thermal expansion during high-speed operation of the ball screw operation through the forced cooling liquid in the nut to achieve high speed and high precision.

The liquid circulates in the cooling space designed in the nut and exchanges heat with the cooler shown in Figure 8.8. This type of product is ideal for use in electric-driven injection machines, presses and other power units that can replace hydraulic systems. Compared with standard nuts, Cool type II nuts differ in outer diameter. Please contact HIWIN for detailed specifications.
